Find your inner sanctuary of peace, harmony and bliss.

Super Full Moon in Taurus at 22 degrees, November 14, 2016, at 13:52 UTC

This full Moon in Taurus is the second of and largest of three consecutive Supermoons which means it is the closest to Earth and therefore extremely potent. It’s also the largest Full Moon and Supermoon since 1948 and the closest full moon to date in the 21st century. We won’t see one so visibly large again until 2034! This Full Moon will be nearly 15 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than a regular Full Moon.

This is both a healing and powerful full moon as both Pluto and Chiron the wounded healer are making positive aspects to the moon.

Chiron the wounded healer/Shaman, is healing and soothing the turbulence of the recent weeks while Pluto helps us to rejuvenate and restore our inner strength and power.
The full moon in opposition to the Sun in Scorpio is about finding and restoring our inner balance and sense of peace.

With this full moon, we can find our own inner sanctuary of peace, harmony and bliss.
As the Sun in Scorpio shines a vibrant and brilliant light onto the Moon in the opposite sign of Taurus, he is illuminating our consciousness and expanding our potential for spiritual insight and inner peace.

The full Moon is a time when you begin to make out the path and can take an exhilarating step forward. It is both a culmination and a time to act on something you’ve imagined with the themes of the full moon showing you the way.

It’s time to restore an inner sense of balance and harmony. Reconnect with inner peace and serenity and a renewed sense of purpose.

Let the Love and Peace that dwells within take center stage.

Create your own inner Sanctuary, a haven where you can relax, rejuvenate and revitalize body and mind. Taurus is an earth sign and can instill us with a sense of groundedness. Taurus is the most sensual sign of the zodiac and Scorpio the most passionate. We can rejuvenate and reawaken our passion and lust for life as well as our relationships. Its a wonderful time to spend with loved ones and indulge the senses and create an oasis of beauty. With good food, wine, music, meditation candlelight and healing aromas.

Taurus is ruled by Venus, the Goddess of Love & Beauty, the brightest planet in the sky. An Earth sign, and as such is connected to the body and the physical world. The Taurus side of Venus is rooted in sensuality, pleasure and celebrating the blessings of the material world. This includes money, possessions and resources of all kinds that collectively represent what you “have”. Taurus has a strong sense of worth and can teach us self-love and self-value.
Taurus knows how to enjoy the hedonistic side of life as well as the simple side. However she must learn to achieve internal security, self-love and worth from within and not from outside of herself through material possessions and attachments.

Taurus in her highest form can show us how to achieve a feeling of inner security and groundedness by learning to appreciate what we have and to be satisfied with “enough. To be in the present and find happiness in the simple things of life as opposed to the addictive high of drama that Scorpio often looses himself in.

To embrace the joy of simplicity in our lives.

“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment”. -Buddha Both Scorpio and Taurus are fixed signs, and their love can turn into the possessive kind. The balancing of both signs can help us to find peace by releasing the need for attachment and possession as well as emotionally and materialistically and can, therefore, find security from within, through the polar sign of Scorpio. Who can bestow self-realisation and psychological knowledge of himself which ultimately leads to empowerment.

A fixed sign, therefore resistant to change and personal evolution.Taurus finds peace by letting go and trusting in the transformative process of life that Scorpio teaches, and so find his way to enlightenment and inner peace. To Awaken to a new yearning for not just physical and materialistic nourishment but spiritual as well.

Buddha had the same polarity of Taurus/Scorpio sun and moon in his natal chart. He eventually reached the state of bliss and enlightenment by releasing and transcending the desire of attachments and the physical-self, by developing the desire for self-knowledge and spirituality.

Enlightenment – the awakening of insight that happens in yourself and is independent of others – makes it possible to create an everlasting world of beauty and harmony, the home of Nirvana.

“The true value of a human being can be found in the degree to which he has attained liberation from the self.” ― Albert Einstein

The Taurus Moon in opposition to the Scorpio Sun represents the unity of spirit and matter, inner peace and outer fullness, resting in the present moment and being active in the physical world, loving others yet taking care of ourselves first, valuing the ideal of peace but remaining grounded in practical reality.

At a deeper level, Taurus-Scorpio teaches us that true inner security is all that remains when ultimately everything else is taken away. When we only have ourselves to rely on. Have we cultivated our spirituality, inner sense of self-worth, strength and love ?, Do we feel empowered with a deep faith and trust in life and ourselves that will carry us through anything that life may throw in our path,?

When we know we can rely upon and trust ourselves fully in any situation our fears and unhealthy attachments will fall away. Scorpio is the sign that confronts us with our mortality and in many ways the Taurus-Scorpio axis is the most spiritually transformative sign of the zodiac as Scorpio ultimately demands that we evolve and transform from within as this is the true meaning and purpose of life.

At the end of life, how far we have evolved and the love in our hearts is all that matters.

Taurus is about a holistic self-sufficiency that applies to all levels of a human being, including the material, bodily, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Material self-sufficiency is being able to support oneself financially. Bodily self-sufficiency is knowing how to care for and heal one’s body as much as possible by oneself, and through a healthy lifestyle. Emotional self-sufficiency is self-love, instead of leaning too much on others. Mental self-sufficiency is not being overly dependent on others for knowledge. And spiritual self-sufficiency is deriving our peace and happiness from within, not from without.

“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment”.-Buddha

Peace is more than the absence of war or violence. Peace is a state of mind, a way of being. Peace is how one feels inside. One’s state of inner peace affects personal health and well-being as well as the world outside. To counteract the tendencies that sabotage our health, we need to find ways to clear our minds and restore our spirit.

“Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without”.-Buddha

Our sensitivity, creativity and intuition are heightened as Neptune conjoins the South Node of Fate in Pisces on November 17 and then stations direct on November 19. Neptune conjunct the South Node urges us to release the shadow side of Pisces, which manifests as victim/martyr roles, codependency, delusion, escapism, and addictions.

Passion and commitment will play a big role throughout the month as Venus in Capricorn meets up with Pluto on the 24th November.

With Mars in Aquarius there is a revolutionary feel in the air. Helping to initiate change and new beginnings, while Mercury in Sagittarius helps us to see the bigger picture with joy and inspiration, helping us to look forward to the future with optimism.

We can look at life from a brand new perspective and find solutions to old problems with a new and innovative way of thinking.

“My dear, In the midst of hate, I found there was, within me, an invincible love.
In the midst of tears, I found there was, within me, an invincible smile.
In the midst of chaos, I found there was, within me, an invincible calm.
I realized, through it all, that…
In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.
And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.
Truly yours”
